HSKS Greenhalgh Associate Director Hannah Bain has been shortlisted in the Young Leader category of the 2019 West Midlands Leadership Awards.

The Young Leader Award recognises the best leader aged under 35 for their ability to make a real difference in their organisation by bringing about positive change and inspiring others around them.

Hannah Bain joined HSKS Greenhalgh in 2012 as a graduate trainee.  She was promoted to Manager in 2015 and since 2016 she has led the HSKS Greenhalgh team based in Uttoxeter.  She specialises in advising agricultural and rural businesses, supporting an industry that she has grown-up around and enjoys in her spare time.

In the three years since she took over the Uttoxeter office, turnover has increased by more than 50% and her team has grown from four to seven.  Hannah was promoted to Associate Director in October 2018.

Commenting on Hannah’s nomination, HSKS Greenhalgh Director Anshu Mehan, said:

“We are all very proud that Hannah has made the shortlist for the Young Leader Award.  From her early days at HSKS Greenhalgh her leadership skills were clear to see, which led to her promotion to Manager well before she had completed her accounting qualifications.

“Hannah is a strong and confident leader, who inspires her team to achieve their goals. She is always very focused and clear about her objectives and has an ability to turn her ideas into real-world successes, to the benefit of her team, the wider firm and her clients”.

The winner of the Young Leader category will be announced at the 2019 West Midlands Leadership Awards Lunch which will take place on Friday 15 November at the Botanical Gardens in Birmingham
