HSKS Greenhalgh Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors have announced that Colin Peacock is to take over the role of Managing Director of the firm. Colin will be supported by Jon Eardley, who takes on the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Colin Peacock replaces Kultaran Singh, who has been Managing Director since the merger of HSKS and Greenhalgh in 2011. Mr Singh will continue to work with his existing clients as well as look for new opportunities to develop the firm’s client base.
Commenting on Colin Peacock’s appointment, Kultaran Singh said: “Colin is the right person to take on the role, having been with the firm for over 30 years. He is a gifted business advisor and a well-respected leader. This is a positive step forward for the business”.
After training with a top 10 firm, Colin Peacock joined Greenhalgh & Co 32 years ago and has been heavily involved in the growth and development of the business, including opening the firm’s Nottingham and Uttoxeter offices, and culminating in the merger between Greenhalgh and HSKS. He has also established HSKS Greenhalgh Corporate Finance as one of the leading medium-sized providers in the East Midlands and has particular expertise in advising businesses in the healthcare sector.
Jon Eardley joined HSKS Greenhalgh last year as Practice Manager, having previously spent over 30 years at NatWest/RBS in various roles, including Senior Relationship Manager and Business Development Director.
In taking over the Managing Director role, Colin Peacock firstly paid tribute to Kultaran Singh. Says Colin “In the five years since the merger, Kultaran has overseen a period of consolidation and has successfully laid the foundations for future growth, on which Jon and I, together with my fellow Directors, can build. This year has already seen the implementation of a number of key elements of our strategy, with the appointment of two new Directors and a Business Development Manager, and we look forward to continuing to implement both our short and long-term plans, which I’m confident will take the business forward to new levels”.
HSKS Greenhalgh have a team of eight Directors and over 65 staff based across their offices in Nottingham, Derby, Burton and Uttoxeter and have specialist teams covering the agricultural, education, healthcare, hospitality and property sectors.
