ICAEW President Hilary Lindsay was the special guest at the NDLSCA Annual Dinner hosted by HSKS Greenhalgh Director Kultaran Singh on 17 March 2017.

In one of the highlights of his year as President of the Nottingham, Derby and Lincoln Society of Chartered Accountants (NDLSCA), HSKS Greenhalgh Director Kultaran Singh has hosted a visit to the East Midlands from the national President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). Dr Hilary Lindsay visited the region to attend the NDLSCA Annual Dinner at Eastwood Hall on Friday 17 March, hosted by Mr Singh, which also saw the presentation of the East Midlands Chartered Accountant of the Year Awards.  As part of her visit, Hilary Lindsay attended the offices of HSKS Greenhalgh to meet some of Mr Singh’s fellow Directors before moving on to PKF Cooper Parry for a meeting with Institute members to discuss flexible working practices.

As Mr Singh explains, the President’s visit was a great opportunity for her to meet and hear the views of local members.

Says Mr Singh: “It was a privilege to welcome the Institute’s national President to the District and for her to grace the NDLSCA Annual Dinner & Awards Night 2017 as our chief guest. Hilary is a very member focused leader who wants to see the regions play a greater role in the affairs of the Institute, as was evident from her address to the 180 plus gathering. Her meeting earlier in the day with some of my fellow Directors proved to be positive and hopefully she’s taken some frank views and suggestions back to the Institute with her”
