HSKS Greenhalgh Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers have announced the promotion of Hannah Bain to the position of Associate Director.
Hannah joined HSKS Greenhalgh’s Uttoxeter office in 2012 after graduating from university in Bristol where she studied accounting and finance. She was promoted to the role of Manager in 2015 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2016.
Having grown up on the family dairy farm in Barton-under-Needwood, Hannah has first-hand experience of the challenges that farming businesses face and so it was no surprise that she soon became a key member of HSKS Greenhalgh’s specialist Agricultural team, whose experts advise farmers and rural businesses across the region.
Based in the Lion Buildings in the town’s Market Place, Hannah took over the running of HSKS Greenhalgh’s Uttoxeter office just over a year ago and since then the office has gone from strength-to-strength. It was this success which led to the firm’s decision to promote her, as HSKS Greenhalgh Managing Director Colin Peacock explains:
“Hannah’s promotion is in recognition of the additional responsibilities she has successfully undertaken since taking over the reins at the Uttoxeter office in June last year.
“Hannah has worked closely with all of our existing clients to provide them with the specialist advice needed to ensure they meet their objectives. She has also introduced manyl new clients to the firm who operate in a variety of sectors, not just farming, all of whom have been impressed by her knowledge, professionalism and approachability.
“As a result, we have increased the size of our team at Uttoxeter and Hannah has played a key role in welcoming our new team members and ensuring that they have settled in as quickly as possible.”
Hannah is looking forward to taking on the challenges her new role will bring. However, she is keen to stress that all her existing clients will continue to receive the same level of knowledge, experience and service that they have come to expect from her and her team.
Explains Hannah: “Having had a very busy year, which has included welcoming Sandra Beardmore and Tori Crutchley to our team, I am very excited to have the opportunity to take on even greater responsibility for the growth and development of HSKS Greenhalgh’s Uttoxeter office. In addition, I’m looking forward to meeting many more businesses, finding out how they operate and discussing with them how we can help them to achieve their growth targets, ambitions and objectives.
“As with my existing clients, they can be confident that they are talking to somebody whose advice is based on an understanding of the sector in which they operate, as well as their individual circumstances, and someone who genuinely cares about farming and building long-lasting relationships with clients”.
