There are still reports of gas safety certificates being issued with incorrect renewal dates.
Be alert to the fact that Gas Safety Certificates now retain their expiry date when an inspection is undertaken within two months prior to that date.This was brought into Gas Safety (Installation & Use) Amendment Regulations 2018.
Ensure that your gas engineer has sight of the current certificate so that the anniversary date can be retained.
